How To Prevent Tendon Injuries and Pulled Muscles Using The Power Plate (With Dr Tommy Rhee)

When it comes to tendon injury prevention, the most effective strategy might sound counterintuitive.  When you use Power Plate harmonic vibration on the belly of the muscle, you engage the muscle spindles, which allow the muscle to stretch better.  Quickly.

This is one reason (of many) that elite athletes are wise to use Power Plate to warm up before practice or games.  In this video he explains how the Power Plate helps to "defeat the spindle"  which then takes pressure off the tendons.

==> This also leads to more relaxed muscles less prone to seizing up.  For sports, pulled hamstrings keep people off the field. Tendon injuries knock them out for the season.

We were inspired to make this video to help our friends in the NFL keep their players off IR, and help our favorite teams win more games.  For example, one healthier hamstring on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would likely mean a 10-4 team instead of an 8-6 team right now.

Dr Rhee was the team Chiropractor of the Bucs for several years, and has worked with elite athletes across the sports spectrum.

One of his sprinting clients won a silver medal (losing the gold to Usain Bolt) in the world championships.  Dr Rhee knows how muscles perform and stay healthy.
