"My sister had a knee replacement. How do I avoid going down that path?"

Someone asked us this question: "my sister had a knee replacement. How to I avoid going down that path?" We asked Dr Rhee and filmed his response!

The basic idea presented here is that isometric or static exercises on the Power Plate can isolate the muscles and tendons around the knee.

Making the knee stronger, more stable and potentially capable of healing damaged cartilage.

But not create additional impact that could degrade the existing cartilage.

The intensity of the exercise on the Power Plate can also help increase "growth factors" that could help cartilage repair and regenerate.

Watch the video for the complete explanation.
