How To Quickly Improve Balance, Coordination and Mobility

The reason the Power Plate is so powerful at helping restore balance and mobility, is that it does 2 things at once.

1) Helps fire 95% of your muscles in 3 dimensions at once.  This is a VERY important concept to.communicate.  The waves of energy that flow through your legs and hips come in at 30-50 hz.  And they are hitting your whole body in every angle

There is no other vibration plate that works this way.  Not only is this 3 dimensions at once, but the varying levels of amplitude create a form of controlled destabilization

This forces the body to rapidly respond.

2) Helps the Brain reconnect with the body. No other technology that we know of can help do this.  When the brain and the parts of the body are reconnected, you are sort of "restoring lost trust" that the brain had with the injured or weakened part of the body.

Sometimes the improvement in balance and mobility is very rapid.  Dr Tommy Rhee demonstrates the single most important exercise to help mobility.

The key here is understanding that we walk ONE leg at a time.  So we need to work one leg at a time!  Easy...

There Is No Other:

Power Plate improves balance, coordination, and mobility by activating the neuromuscular system through harmonic whole-body vibration.

These vibrations stimulate the muscle spindles and mechanoreceptors in the skin and joints, sending powerful signals to the brain.

This improves proprioception—your body’s ability to sense where it is in space—which is essential for stability and movement control.

Unlike regular exercise, Power Plate causes rapid muscle contractions (up to 30–50 times per second), recruiting both large and small stabilizing muscles that are often underused, especially as we age or recover from injury.

Coordination also improves because the vibrations trigger a reflexive response in the muscles, forcing the brain to constantly adjust motor output.

This enhances communication between the brain, spinal cord, and muscles, leading to quicker reactions and smoother movement patterns.

Mobility increases as tight muscles are loosened and joint range of motion is gently expanded through rhythmic stimulation and improved circulation.

Simple exercises that support these benefits include standing on the Power Plate with a slight bend in the knees, shifting weight from side to side, slow toe-to-heel rocking, or single-leg stands while holding a support.

More advanced users can try step-ups, lunges, or balance drills like marching in place with eyes closed. Even two to five minutes a day can retrain the nervous system, increase joint control, and significantly reduce the risk of falls.

Power Plate helps the brain reconnect with the nerves by stimulating sensory receptors in the skin, muscles, and joints. The harmonic vibrations activate these receptors, sending rapid signals to the brain.

This improves communication between the brain and body, especially in areas where the nervous system has weakened due to age, injury, or inactivity.

Every vibration on the Power Plate creates a reflex—a small, automatic muscle contraction. These reflexes happen up to 50 times per second, training the brain to respond faster and more accurately.

Over time, this strengthens neural pathways that control balance, coordination, and movement.

For people recovering from neurological issues—or simply trying to move better as they age—Power Plate offers a unique way to restore lost connections and improve motor control from the ground up.
