How Retired or Former Athletes Can Get Out Of Pain, Dr Tommy Rhee Explains

Dr Tommy Rhee works with athletes at the high school, college and professional level. He helps them recover from injury and get out of pain. In this video he talks about retired athletes, and how he helps them recover range of motion and get out of pain.

The key idea here is that former athletes usually used to lift heavy, and using the Power Plate he can help them recover range of motion without putting a ton of stress on the joints

==>>One comment he made off camera was that athletes who are still playing should be using the Power Plate before a practice and especially before games.  In his experience there are two big groups of players.  The first warm up too much before a game, and have less energy after. The second group does not warm up much at all, because they want to save their energy. Because Power Plate helps you warm up quickly, it is an ideal sweet spot so that you get warmed up, but don't expend too much energy.

We even know of football teams who brought their plates with them to Superbowls.  And used them at halftime. Successfully. Dr Rhee has done a lot of work with NFL players and with Tampa Bay for many years. Warming up with the Power Plate can play a key role in injury prevention-- especially with tendons and hamstrings.
