Since getting my power plate just after Christmas. I can say I am pleased with how it relieves stiffness & works the tiniest muscle groups. I am in my late 60's with a diagnosis of osteoporosis and history of an osteoporotic fracture. As a retired MD I am committed to understanding the biology of bone loss and doing everything possible to reverse this condition and build the best possible quality of bone. I have had some successes improving my DEXA results by embracing heavy resistance training and good nutrition, but recently I decided to take things to another level by adding in vibration therapy. I reviewed recent literature and decided the Power Plate was the best device for me.
I have been using the Power Plate as part of my regular routine for about 2 months now, and though I won't have DEXA results to assess for many more months, I already feel like this has been a good investment in my overall health. I feel stronger and more stable with my balance, so that alone is worth the investment. I am hopeful that my bone health will be demonstrably improved also.
I just love my MOVE PP- I am amazed how it helps remove muscle soreness after a workout . Additionally it seems to help with flexibility- I have always had tight hamstrings and using the PP has made that tightness ease up considerably.
