Effects of 6-week periodized squat training program with or without whole-body vibration on jump height and power output following acute vibration exposure
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of a 6 week squat program with and without vibration on jump performance following an acute vibration exposure. 36 men participated in this study. The peak power in the performed counter movement jumps significantly increased in the vibration group, compared to the without vibration group. Conclusion:
Power Plate® machine intervention during the 6-week squat training program resulted in greater acute improvements in power output and jump height for both jump conditions compared to squat training alone.
